Bequests

For over 150 years UnitingCare Wesley Bowden has been supporting South Australian individuals, families and communities by delivering services in emergency relief, youth, care for the disabled and frail aged and counselling to those in need.  A bequest to UnitingCare Wesley Bowden enables us to continue this work and also to develop and plan programs to build strength in areas that it identifies in need in the community.

After your family has been provided for, we invite you to support our work by leaving a gift or bequest in your will.  Your bequest will be invested and used to improve the lives of South Australian’s in need and will ensure that your good will continues generation after generation.  

Including a gift or bequest in your will to UnitingCare Wesley Bowden is easy.  When you make or update your will ask your solicitor to include UnitingCare Wesley Bowden.  The most effective ways to do this are by
1.    Choosing to leave a specific amount of money to UnitingCare Wesley Bowden
2.    Donating all or a percentage of your total estate
3.    Bequeathing the residue or a  percentage of the residue of your estate
4.    Gift specific property e.g. shares or works of art
5.    Set up a charitable trust
