Child Care Links is an Early Childhood - Invest to Grow initiative, funded by the Australian Government under the Family Support Program

Service Information:

The Child Care Links program is based at Athol Park Child & Family Centre with a focus on families and staff across two sites, the Athol Park Child & Family Centre and the Torrensville Child, Family and Montessori Centre. Child Care Links is conducted by highly trained staff with skills and knowledge in early childhood, social, and community development.

Services that we offer in 2009 include:

Bopping Babies Playgroup

Thursday mornings at 9:30am—11am at Athol Park Neighbourhood House

Come along to playgroup at Athol Park Neighbourhood House on Thursday mornings where there will be lots of fun activities for you and your children aged 0-5yrs to enjoy.  Teach your child rhythm whilst they “bop” along to music, take part in arts and craft activities, and make friends with other babies and caregivers. For more information please contact Anne on 8447 3633.

Swap & Save

Do you have lots of old toys cluttering up your cupboards that your child no longer plays with? Have you got old clothes that no longer fit your child? If so, then join Swap & Save at Athol Park Child & Family Centre (3rd Tuesday of the month) or Torrensville Child, Family & Montessori Centre (3rd Friday of the month). You can swap your old clothes and toys for newer ones that suit your child’s stage of development. Your child gets a new toy to play with, you’ve helped the environment by recycling your old stuff, and it’s FREE!  To find out more contact Anne on 8447 3633. Please note, only clean toys and clothes in good condition will be accepted.

Book Borrowing

Quality children’s books and parent resources are available for borrowing free of charge from Athol Park Child & Family Centre and Torrensville Child, Family & Montessori Centre (fortnightly from second week of the month)

Newsletter

A newsletter will be distributed to parents at Athol Park Child & Family Centre every 3 months to provide information on upcoming events, activities and parenting topics. If you would like to share your ideas on what you would like to see in the newsletter, please contact Anne on 8447 3633.
