Childcare Benefit

The Child Care Benefit helps you meet the cost of child care and is paid directly to your child care provider, reducing the fee that you will pay.
The amount of assistance you will receive will depend on your income and assets, and how many children you have attending child care. The amount of Child Care Benefit you are entitled to will also depend on whether you and your partner work, or are looking for work, are studying, training or even doing voluntary work.
If you would like further information regarding Child Care Benefit and how to apply, please contact your nearest Centrelink office or call 131 524.  Alternatively, pick up an application form when you visit one of our centres. The centre Director will assist in any way they can.
