UnitingCare Wesley Bowden provides a child care service at Torrensville Child & Family Centre.

Our centre provides services to families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, always respecting the individual rights of all families. We ensure that all aspects of your child's developmental needs are programmed for and evaluated regularly.

Our centre:
•    Care for children aged six weeks old to school age
•    Is fully accredited
•    Provides educational programs (Early Years Learning Framework)
•    Operates with highly qualified and multilingual staff
•    Qualifies for the child care benefit rebate
•    Operates as non profit community based centres
•    Runs the ‘Start Right Eat Right’ healthy meal program
•    Is Asthma friendly
•    Is safe, friendly, nurturing environments
•    Holds Sun Smart accreditation
•    Is open between the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year, excluding public holidays.

At Uniting Care Wesley Bowden, we understand that when we take care of your child we become part of your family, an extension perhaps, to help you to study, work or attend other things.

Fees
Children's Services is committed to providing affordable quality care for all families. This is reflected in our fee structure. A 2 week bond is charged and fees are payable by direct debit, cheque, VISA, Bankcard and Mastercard. Child Care is GST free.
The amount you will pay is dependant on the amount of Child Care Benefit you receive. Your Child Care Benefit percentage is paid directly to UCW Bowden by Centrelink, leaving you to pay the "gap fee" only.

Many research studies show that child care offers an opportunity for children to learn important social skills that are useful for the rest of their lives.  Our curriculum based development programs stimulate their learning rate even further and prepare them for the school environment.
