Residential Aged Care Services

There are three categories of services that our Residential Aged Care Homes must and do provide, at no extra cost. These are:

Accommodation services are provided at no additional charge, for all residents who need them, irrespective of their level of care. They include:

  • accommodation-related services, such as furnishings and bedding;
  • general laundry and cleaning services;
  • maintenance of buildings and grounds; and importantly
  • the provision of staff continuously on call to provide emergency assistance.

Lower level care services are personal care type services. They are available to all residents who need them, without additional charge. They include:

  • assistance with the activities of daily living, such as bathing, toileting, eating and dressing;
  • assistance with mobility and communication;
  • meals, including special diets; and
  • support for people with dementia.

Residents requiring higher levels of care will also receive nursing and personal care services without an additional charge. These may include:

  • equipment items, such as those used to assist with mobility and maintaining continence;
  • medical and pharmaceutical supplies and equipment;
  • nursing procedures;
  • administration of/help with administering medication;
  • therapy services; and
  • oxygen and oxygen equipment.

Our Residential Aged Care Homes provide the full range of care so that people will not have to move if their care needs change.
