Westside Housing Association is an incorporated Community Housing provider auspiced by UnitingCare Wesley Bowden. Established in 1984, Westside Housing Association is a member of the "Preferred Growth Provider" panel of Housing SA and currently manages 217 houses.
Westside Housing Association houses high needs groups such as people disadvantaged by income and/or social circumstance. Rent is assessed on 25% of the total household income.
Westside Housing Association Inc. has an ongoing working relationship with UnitingCare Wesley Bowden (UCW Bowden) and offers a support link for tenants within the areas of:
• Aged
• Frail and/or Disabled
• Domestic Violence
• Mental Health;
• Indigenous at risk
• Culturally Diverse backgrounds
• Financially disadvantaged
• Low Income support
• Relationship Building
• Substance Abuse
• Emergency Relief
• Supported Tenancies
• Family support
Developing a holistic approach to tenant problems, whilst working in partnership with UnitingCare Wesley Bowden, to identify “seed causes” of problems and connecting tenants with appropriate services is a vital tool for future viability.
Registration of Interest (ROI)
As of February 2010, one registration form entitles clients to be registered with Community Housing Associations, Housing SA, Aboriginal Housing and the public sector. Once your application is processed your information can be accessed by any registered sector.
